This concept car will be shown at Geneva International Motor Show 2011. With Captur, Renault tried to offer ‘fun’ car performance with low emission.
Using DCI Energy 160 twin-turbo engine. The engine was developed from the DCI 130 1900 cc capacity, with power output of 160HP. Peak torque of 380 Nm at 1750 rpm.
Renault has a strategy to become the leading of car manufacturer with low CO2 emissions.
As quoted from carscoop, Renault’s director of concept cars, Axel Breun stated,
“It takes as its basis the fundamental design language introduced on the DeZir concept car but adds a more technical dimension – more functional but still highly sensuous,”
