Mono, the F1 car taste by Briggs Automotive Company (BAC)

After Previously with KTM X-Bow, Lotus 2-11, and the Ariel Atom, Now, Briggs Automotive Company (BAC) offers a single seater car, they called Mono with Formula 1 designs. But the “Formula One” who deserve to pass on the highway. And now the car is in the process toward perfection. Mono Body made ??of lightweight carbon fiber, which for safety have been registered according to the FIA procedure.

It is believed the car would be an interesting car if it is not just from the appearance resemble those of Formula One but also the specifications. BAC claim, based on four-cylinder inline engine, Mono has the power of 280 horsepower.

0-60 mph in 2.8 seconds. With a top speed around 170 mph.

Mono transmission device adopts semi-auto six-speed Hewland FTR with girbox sequentially. AP Racing with ventilated discs into components for braking.

Other additional form of a racing dampers, Sachs racing dampers, wings on the legs double-system, an adjustable suspension and roll bars adjustable in this super-sophisticated vehicles. BAC according to Mono’s plan will only sell to UK market only.
As quoted from autoevolution, company co-founder Ian Briggs said,

“MONO is the culmination of a 12-year dream for us – the car we wanted to own but nobody else made. All cars are built to order on a first-come, first-served basis and our flexible production facility has the capacity to manufacture between 50 and 100 vehicles per year – or more if demand requires. All I can currently say is, the early response has been extremely encouraging,”
