2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8, the Fastest Jeep

Here is the 465 HP 2012 Grand Cherokee SRT8, making it the Fastest Jeep Ever! Jeep has given the SRT (Street and Racing Technology) treatment to this flasgship.

Blame it to the The Chrysler Group’s Street and Racing Technology division (SRT) powered the performance for this SUV with an all-brand-new 6.4-liter HEMI V8 engine with 465 HP output power and 465 lb-ft (630 Nm) of torque. With such a power, the engine has capabiltiy for acceleration from 0 to 60 mph (100 km/h) in 4.8 seconds with top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h). Interestingly, this latest model 13% more economical than its predecessor, this is happening thanks to the activation of a new dual exhaust systems.

Yeah, after previously (last year) with the same model but powered by the 6.1-liter HEMI V8 engine. This 2012 version has an extra 45HP and 45 lb-ft (61 Nm) of torque.

Talk about the interior, this 2012 version features a heated steering wheel, special SRT instrument panel, Nappa leather and suede upholstery and carbon trim. This 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 will be available on sale starting third-quarter of this year.
