2012 Chevrolet Corvette Upgrades Package, Offering better Performance and Comfort

It’s different model from the Chevrolet Centennial Edition. All 2012 Chevrolet Corvette upgrades package will be revealed with the Centennial Edition at a special event at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky. As reported, the production will begins this July.

The performance improvements only for the Z06 and ZR1 models and rest will only receive modest interior and equipment updates. on of the optional are Michelin Pilot Sport Cup Zero Pressure tires, only available for the Z06 with 505HP ouput power and the supercharged ZR1 models (638HP).

Another upgrade for this 2012 models, a feature that was previously only available on the ZR1, a Magnetic Selective Ride Control suspension technology and Brembo carbon ceramic brakes. The upgrade package will also offer a special six-speed manual transmission.

As for the standard 2012 Corvette, will receive a new exterior, Carlisie Blue and also some interior modifications including sports steering wheel.

All 2012 Chevrolet Corvette models will get new seat and steering wheel designs. As Chevrolet says that the seats will feature larger bolsters for improved lateral support and optional microfiber suede inserts. In addition, all models receive contrasting red, blue and yellow color stitching.
