Loder1899′s 2012 Ford Focus Hatchback

Loder1899, the German-based tuner specialist launched the tune package for the 2012 Ford Focus Hatchback.

The tune package include the numerous carbon fiber, such as the headlight covers as the company calls “evil eyes”, features LED daytime running lights and fog lights wrapped in chrome. A wide range of alloy wheels in sizes from 18- to 20-inches models round off the exterior package.

Diesel-powered 2.0-liter TDCi engine as the standard engine for the 2012 Ford Focus Hatchback, tuner also got it modified, as they improve the turbo pressure, and the power output raise from 163HP to 195HP, and torque from 340 Nm (250 lb-ft) to 395 Nm (291 lb-ft). For the standards version, the engine completed with A six-speed dual-clutch transmission (PowerShift in Ford nomenclature) and also a unique feature as Ford (TM) calls Hill Start assist, which holds the brakes for 2.5 seconds to prevent rollback on an incline. The system activates when the incline exceeds 3%. What a usefull feature, just hope Loder1899 didn’t get rid of it.

For such modified engine, the Loder1899′s Ford Focus accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.4 seconds, 0.2 seconds faster than the standard version. Top speed also increased by 2 km/h to 220 km/h.

Either you buy it separately or  a complete vehicle priced at €27,695 ($39,520) in Germany.
