GM’s Chevrolet Cobalt Sedan Concept will be Revealed at Buenos Aires Motor Show

For you in US, the previous Cobalt was has been replaced by GM with the Chevrolet Cruze. But this one, is for Argentina, the All-New Chevrolet Cobalt. Still a concept though, but this pre-production form image of all-new Chevrolet Cobalt Sedan is revealed by Chevrolet and will be premiere at Buenos Aires Motor Show (June 17 to 26) in Argentina.

Development was under the General Motors Technical Center in South America and will enter production in next year. As rumored, this sedan is based on Chevrolet Sonic Saloon.

Here is what Jaime Ardila, President of General Motors South America said, as we quoted from egmcartech,

“The Cobalt is an important vehicle in our strategy to be a versatile model.Its configuration combines the everyday with trips over the weekend with family and luggage, always with great comfort, performance and efficiency in fuel consumption. It is a car that brings a number of differentials that certainly will attract a wide swath of consumers,”

Cobalt will be sold globally with engine option 4-cylinder engines ranging from 1.3 to 1.8 liters, with automatic and manual transmissions, running on ethanol (flex fuel), gasoline or diesel. And also for the rims, 17-inch alloy wheels in 255/45 R17 rubber and twin exhaust outlets.

For cabin section, using Airy-cabin concept of two-tone black and silver color blend. This sedan has been equipped with entertainment systems 7-inch screen for the rear seats and navigation.
