MINI Motorsport Present JCW Coupe Racer at 24h Nurburgring

After previously announce production and price for the New Mini Coupe Debut, the racing version will run some endurance racing this weekend (June 25 to 26) at Nurburgring 24-hour Race. They Called it MINI JCW  (John Cooper Works) Coupe Racer.

As reported, the JWC Coupe RAcer using the same engine as the production vehicle, which is the standard 4-cylinder 1.6L engine with a twin-scroll turbocharger plus direct injection.

The Power? Boost up to 250HP that increase top speed into 240 km/h (150 mph) with peak torque up to 330 Nm (243 pound-feet).

It also features go-kart styling for interior including a roll cage welded to the body and adapt the rest of it, such as by adding tiffened and adjustable dampers, roll cage, racing seat, 6-point seatbelts, HANS (Head And Neck Support) system and also electronic stability control (DSC: Dynamic Control System) as quoted from carscoop.

Front spoiler, the rear diffuser and the adjustable rear wing (JCW Package) is meant to increased downforce.
