McLaren Launched Volcano Red MP4-12C, Premiere at Goodwood Festival of Speed

Festival of Speed? Yeah, right. Here is one of them diplayed by McLaren, The 2012 Volcano Red MP4-12C at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The 2012 McLaren MP4-12C is powered with a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 engine producing 592 hp at 7,000 rpm with maximum torque of 600 Nm (443 lb-ft) between 3,000 rpm to 7,000 rpm. With such a engine, the supercar can go from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.3 seconds, with a top speed reached 205 mph. Pricing for the MP4-12C starts at GBP168,500 ($231,400 in the United States).

But, as you read this article, there is a bad news though, here as I quoted fom autoevolution,

“…unfortunately, even if you have the money and the urge to make this beauty yours, we have to sadly inform you that it is already out of stock.

To be more specific, McLaren Automotive’s order books for the supercar are full for the next three years. And no matter how many tears you shed, the company has no intention of boosting production levels.”

3 years??? Too bad.
