2015 BMW M2 with Tri-Turbo Engine

Will be released in 2015, here it is the new Coupe series from BMW, the BMW M5 featured the Tri-Turbo Engine. BMW also will pair the 6-cylinder turbo engine with a capacity of 3 liters that can generate power of up to 350bhp. Similar to M1 Coupe but will be more fuel efficient.

As quoted from autoevolution, the BMW M Division Executive said,

“In the 1M Coupe, we have a starter car for the M Division, and we are continuing to develop this project. Such models must be sporty, and offer extraordinarily low fuel consumption. This is something we could achieve with the M2. I think the 1M Coupe proves there is room for an M2, a coupe,”

For M2, BMW will use the F21 platform that also be used on the 2-Series that was introduced in early 2014. Front-engine, with rear wheel drive. M2 will use the new DCT transmission of semi-automatic. The brakes will be taken from the current M3. In addition, to keep the weight of the vehicle, certain parts using carbon fiber fortified with plastic. This material was first adopted on the E46 M3 CSL whose condition is stronger than steel, but lighter.
