2012 Suzuki Swift Sport: Frankfurt Preview

Suzuki today (10/08) officially announced the new generation Suzuki Swift Sport will make its world debut at the Frankfurt Auto Show next month. 2012 Swift Sport will featured 1.6-litre M16A engine that deliver 134 HP and 160 Nm (118 lb.ft.) of torque, linked with 6-speed manual transmission.

As quoted from autoevolution, Suzuki (TM) said,

“The new Swift Sport offers superior cornering stability and brisker, more responsive handling thanks to struts with internal rebound springs and an exclusive rear-suspension design,”

“It is a refined sport compact resulting from the first full model change since the launch of the original Swift Sport in 2006. ”

2012 Swift Sport will be lowered, carbon fiber trim, new steering wheel, light, stiff, impact-absorbing body, and equipped with seven airbags (including curtain airbags and a driver’s knee airbag), and ESP (Electronic Stability Program) as reported from autoevolution.

The new Suzuki Swift Sport is scheduled to go on sale in Australia early in 2012.
