2012 Kia Soul Comes with Two Engine Option, 1.6L & 2.0L

Kia (TM) has just announced their latest models for 2012. 2012 Kia Soul is present with a look more funky and fresh than previous models.

As from the title, Two engine option will be available. First, with the new six-speed transmissions, a new 1.6-liter GDI four-pot that delivers 135HP. While fuel consumption will be around 8.4-6.9lt/100km (improvement 10% than previous engine).

The Second engine will be a new 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 160HP and 143 lb-ft (194Nm) of peak torque. Linked with new six-speed manual or automatic transmissions. For this one, fuel consumption around 8.7-7.1lt/100km for both the automatic and manual transmission models.

As for exterior design, this car has been updated with a subtle change that occurred in front of and behind the car that looks a little wider. For rear lamps, front, rear view mirror, the wheels look more modern and also the redesigned hood. Kia Soul is also equipped with exclusive projector lamps with LED accents in the front and rear lights, and wear velk with a size of 18 inches.

While inside featured 4.3-inch color touch screen, standard UVO powered by Microsoft voice-activated infotainment system, heated front seats, leather seat trim, automatic climate control, and a navigation system

Pricing for the 2012 Kia Soul starts at $13,900, and at $15,700 for the Soul Automatic.
