Interesting Mazda RX-8 of the European market last year, due to failing to meet emission standards. According to sources from inside, without any demand from Europe, Mazda can not sell the RX-8.

As reported from themotorreport, Mazda Australia’s Steve McIver said that,

RX-8 was UNABLE TO meet Europe’s strict Euro V emissions laws, the Mazda RX-8 will reportedly be pulled from the European market later this year.

Mazda RX-8 and three generations of RX-7 with a rotary engine has long been on the market. With the 1.3L engine is equipped twin-motor, the rotary engine produces power 232 HP at 8500 rpm.

According to sources from Hiroshima, Mazda’s engineers are preparing the next generation rotary 1.6L capacity with 16X code with specifications lower emissions and fuel consumption more efficient.
