[Frankfurt 2011] 2012 Toyota Avensis Facelift Revealed

Another Uncovered brand-new car at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show from Toyota Motor Corp., the 2012 Toyota Avensis Facelift. No Spyshot this time, it’s a full form from any angle as Toyota released the official picture.

The New Avensis powered with 2.0 liter D-4D diesel in two power configurations – 124 PS (91 kW / 122 hp) and 148 PS (109 kW / 146 hp). The 124 PS diesel features a CO2 quotient of 119g/km. Both units are matched with a six-speed manual transmission as standard. Also available is the 1.8 liter Valvematic petrol boasting an output of 145 PS (107 kW / 143 hp).

For the exterior, new Avensis features the new rear bumper, new grille design, headlamps with daytime running lights, large air intake, also the 16-inch steel or 17- or 18-inch alloy wheels.

While the interior receive improved console, such as new colours, the brand-new Touch and Go feature from Toyota, side vents with chrome trim and searbacks with lateral support and comfort.

Also added, a 6.1-inch touch-screen, Bluetooth connectivity, rear-view parking camera, automatic phone book access, audio streaming and vehicle settings display as standard, with features like full map navigation, speed warning, SMS messaging, 3D landmarks, e-mail and an 11-speaker audio system.
