ONLY in Japan & 300 units, the Subaru Impreza STi S206

Subaru (TM) has revealed a new special edition version of their’s Impreza STI sports sedan called, the S206. Apart from just 300 units, the other bad news is this sportscar will be only for the Japanese Domestic Market (JDM), based on Subaru Impreza STI.

To improve the aerodynamics of the value of this limited edition S206, there is a change in the bumper and lower spoiler, grille design and new side skirts, rear spoiler and supported by specially designed in order to distinguish them from ordinary Subaru Impreza. To signify a special edition, exclusive leather steering wheel and Recaro seats and seat belts are red.

For the engine, using flat-four turbocharged engine by optimizing the weight balance between pistons. Also, the 2.0-liter unit gains a retuned ECU, an enhanced twin-scroll turbocharger and a reduced-back pressure exhaust system, all of which help increase output to 320HP and 431 Nm ( 318 lb-ft).

Subaru STI S206 features STi coil springs, front tower bar and draw a flexible stiffener, which promise to improve the appropriate and quick response when the car enters the corner along with the Brembo brakes. Impreza S206 apply new BBS aluminum alloy wheels measuring 19-inches that is designed specifically for this model, and the Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires.

Subaru also developed a special NBR Challenge Package for the S206. It features a carbon-fibre roof and rear spoiler, plus Nürburgring Challenge sticker and red door sills, and will be available in 100 units.
