The one-off Audi A1 Samurai Blue is making debut at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show which opened today, Wednesday (30/11) until 11 December. It’s because “Blue” is the color of the costumes Japanese teams.
As reported, according to Audi, “Samurai Blue” is the name for the Japanese national soccer team. While white is the color blue costume national team, both male and female teams. Currently, for male teams, Japanese teams are the champions of Asia. While the more successful women’s team, world champion in Germany.
The interior gets black color with a blend of blue color on the console, door trim, air conditioning vents and “Samurai Blue” badge on the back seat. Reported from the official press release, “. . .the A1 SAMURAI BLUE has strong acceleration and high speed, while the sports suspension with 225 millimeter wide, 18-inch wheels give the car the agility of a top league soccer star.”
The one-off Samurai Blue using a 1.4-liter TFSI petrol engine capable of producing 120 hp power. Samurai Blue Audi A1 will be sold by auction which is planned to go on sell in 2012. All the profits to charity.
