Attention of the world now could come to Savage Rivale. The Dutch carmaker has just made an announcement regarding the company’s plans toward the introduction of the GTR at the Top Marques Monaco. The new GTR is a high-performance coupe that was built based on the Roadyacht GTS. It is a four-door exotic hardtop convertible.
The new GTR is powered by a turbocharged 6.2-liter V8 engine that is able to generate output at 700 horsepower (522 kW or 710 PS) to 800 horsepower (597 kW or 811 PS) and 780 Nm of torque (575 pounds).
The super-powerful engine is matched to a six-speed manual transmissions with which the vehicle can boost from 0 to 100 kilometers by only taking 2.8 seconds and reach a maximum speed of 360 kilometers per hour (224 mph). With this ability, the vehicle is also called the boulevard cruiser, by some people.
The Roadyacht-based car, which weighs only 1030 kilograms, is stand on a tubular chassis and features an adjustable coilover suspension and Brembo carbon ceramic. In addition, the vehicle is also equipped with scissor doors, xenon headlights and a prominent rear spoiler. At the inside, it is known that the GTR gets a Recaro race seat with a six-point harness and carbon fiber trim while other feature information has yet to be revealed – no official details offered by the manufacturer.
The new Savage Rivale GTR will be produced in a very limited number of 69 units. The new GTS is scheduled to be introduced to public at the Top Marques Monaco which will be held in April this year. Before the show in Monaco, the company plans to make a mid-April trip from The Hague to Monte Carlo. The buyers need to prepare €141,250 ($183,655 or £117,030) to possess one of them and bring it home.
