The 2012 Geneva International Auto Show will held in March and it will be the next event used by automakers throughout the world to showcase their all-new or the updated version of their vehicles.

The Bavarian carmaker will also introduce several new engines for the 1-Series, 3-Series and X3. Additionally, there will also be models like the latest 3-Series sedan, the i3 hatchback and i8 sports coupe concepts, as well as the new BMW M Performance accessory program.

According to BMW, the M Performance products, which come along with the M Sport Packages, were initially developed for the 5-Series Sedan, the new 3 Series Sedan and the new 1-Series hatchback for they will be launched this spring in Europe and this summer in North America. The products offer more individualized options with upgrades on the styling and performance.

Along with newly developed power kits that start with BMW’s 4-cylinder turbo diesel engines, the products also include other upgrades such as black kidney grills, M Performance exhaust systems, brakes and suspension components, carbon fiber front splitters and varying aero parts, an M Performance steering wheel with Race Display, and M Performance stainless steel pedals. In addition, there are also gearshift lever knob and handbrake handle with Alcantara gaiter and 19- or 20-inch alloys.

BMW also said that offers more what the driver can clearly feel, including the increased acceleration time listed at up to 1.0 second from 0-100km/h. More importantly, the increased performance brings no effect to the car’s low fuel consumption and carbon emissions. As it was added by the carmaker, later the M Performance Power Kit will come to the gasoline engines like the 2.o-liter TwinPower unit.
