The New 2012 Audi (TM) A6 Hybrid

The New Audi A6 Hybrid, this is the next hybrid vehicle after Audi Q5 Hybrid Quattro that appearing premiere in Los Angeles Auto Show 2010.

Audi A6 Hybrid will be equipped with a 2.0 TFSI engine-powered 8-speed 4-cylinder 211 hp which when combined with electric motors to increase power by 45 hp with 211 Nm of torque. It accelerates 0 – 100 km/h (62.14 mph) in 7.3 seconds, top speed is 238 km/h (147.89 mph) and the average fuel consumption is 6.2 liters per 100 km, a CO2 emissions level of 142 grams per km (228.53 g/mile).

A6 hybrid using lithium-ion battery capable of storing energy of 1.3 kWh and produce 39 kW. A6 hybrid capable of generating power as a V6 engine while still providing the level of true efficiency four-cylinder engine.

The Audi A6 hybrid can achieve speeds of up to 100 km/h (62.14 mph) purely on electricity. A6 Hybrid can also operate with the combustion engine only or in hybrid mode.

“In the future, our customers will be able to choose from an increasingly broad range of driveline technologies,” Audi CEO Rupert Stadler said in Geneva.
