2010 AutoWorld Ward’s Top 10 Best Engines

The magazine said, the assessment criteria the best machine that is the level of fuel efficiency and vehicle performance.

One of the machine is, the Volvo I-6 engine turbocharger that carried by the Volvo S60. That machine is capable of spraying power 300 horsepower and 325 lb ft of torque at engine speed at 2100 rpm with fuel consumption of one liter to 8.45 miles in the city.

As quoted from theautochannel, “Volvo clearly benchmarked the BMW in developing the supremely smooth T6 engine, based on its delicious mid-range power band and paucity of turbo lag,” noted Tom Murphy, Executive Editor of Ward’s AutoWorld in his December 7 article highlighting the awards. “This engine is perfectly suited for the all-new S60 and powers it into contention against bigger, better-established luxury entries.”
